"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."  -Philippians 3:12-14

Pastor Richard Yeager-Stiver writes:

The Spirit Restoration Seminar "Memories of the Eternal" was a powerful
experience.  Following our three day seminar the phone at the church
seems to never stop ringing.  Everyone who attended the seminar seems to
have a thirst for a stronger relationship with Christ.  Manfred opened the
hearts of persons who never knew Christ before.
I have even already been asked if I could make the church available
additional nights for Bible Study because they are interested in learning
more about what Manfred presented.
Manfred brings his awareness of God in his personal story and Manfred
conveys how God is at work in his life. It is evident that Manfred is
truly blessed by God and has a message that shows Christ's love for all of
us. This has been an awesome spiritual experience for our church and the
community around us.

Thank you Manfred

(1) introduction:

"Memories of the Eternal"

is a five-day spiritual journey and will explore:

  • Who we are as beings with all the choices we have to make in life

  • How do we find our true self in this life and how can we live it out?

  • What is the purpose of our life?

  • How can we sense right from wrong as we are on the journey of life?

  •

While there are many worthwhile pursuits in life, there is one most worthy— knowing about oneself and knowing the Eternal. Our minds and hearts know this, yet in reality, we may find ourselves at the peril of settling for lesser pursuits, of loosening our grip on the dreams that we find purpose and give purpose to our life.

The evenings are designed for Christians as well as for those who want to explore the Christian faith. During this time of exploration we will look deep within our lives; we will try to understand and evaluate our relationship(s) with others and the Eternal. We will seek answers to questions most of us have and are afraid to ask. We will hear about the experiences of humankind with God and each visitor will be able to ask questions in a group format openly (or anonymously) which we will then discuss openly. Discovering who we are and who we are meant to be will be the focal point of four great days together.

Financial offerings from your church will go directly to spiritrestoration.org, a Christian, ecumenical website that is designed to bring resources to mature Christians and Christian leaders around the world.

     (2) Daily Presentation:

  • Sunday <lead in by pastor of home church>

  • Focus of sermon should be on consistent, loving, and forgiving God

  • Monday <sin> "What is wrong with me?" (Gen. 3:1-13)

  • Tuesday <relationship(s) "Am I hearing voices?" (Luke 15:17-20)

  • Wednesday <truth> "What’s’ love got to do with it?" (John 3:1-21)

  • Thursday <forgiveness> "You are moving to a strange place" (John 4:4-26)

  • Thursday will be the day where the pastor of the home church will offer communion immediately after the service to those who have a relationship with God. Following the evening, each attendee is encouraged to bring a covered dish and we will all enjoy dinner together.

The "service" each day (with the exception of Sunday) will last 85 minutes, and is designed to equip the believer to attain a new relationship with God and it will allow those who explore the faith of Christianity to experience a non-threatening environment. This journey is a quest to seek the Eternal within us and experience it like we have never before.
