Worship is defined as ceremonies, prayers, or other religious forms by which this love is expressed. Another meaning of the word Worship is, regard with ardent or adoring esteem or devotion.  In the book “The Worship God is Seeking”, the author, David Ruis, brings readers a deeper understanding of the relationship God wants with those who seek to Worship.   At the heart of every Christian, worship becomes a vital part of daily life in this book it brings to note that God must be at the very center of worship.  God must be at the center in low times, middle times and in the high times of a Christian’s life.

Being a Christian is rewarding, life eternal in Heaven, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died for our sins, therefore being a Christian can be demanding.  When we are learning to be a Christian it is indeed a learning experience as explained in Romans 8:26  Likewise the  Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself  maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  The way that the Holy Spirit helps with prayer, the Holy Spirit helps with the way to worship to the delight of God.

Christian worship is about the living Christ.  As Christians we seek to do our best and live life to the fullest for the living Christ.  Worship is collaborated into everything we do, eating, drinking, singing, etc.  Jesus Christ, he died for us and so we live for him.  In worship we see and know that Christ overcame death, he again is the living Christ and so we find many aspects of our life to praise and worship Him.

I recommend The Worship God is Seeking for every Christian on every level, from new Christians to Christians of many, many years, the author David Ruis brings about the many fine aspects of worship, and the worship that God is seeking.  One of the key elements that author David Ruis brings attention to is Community.  Not only community of church but we look to the word of God and we look to “Love Thy Neighbor”.  Community means many different things especially in these days and times.  However when we look back to this passage of scripture the key word is love, after all isn’t the worship God is seeking a worship based on love.  Find out; read The Worship God is Seeking by David Ruis.
