Once again Peter Hess gives a story with twist and turns that most people would never want to go through. Best of all his character, Gohan, continues through it all determined to do God’s will. Gohan has grown in his faith since International Intrigue. He has become more pure in his beliefs and more dedicated to his new profession, ministry. At first, one would think that Gohan had given up his life as a deadly weapon but, true to form, he finds himself in a situation up against seemingly insurmountable odds. Before he gets there, however, he has some finished business to take care of.

World traveler Gohan zips off to Hong Kong to visit a fellow missionary, then to Australia to pick up his soon to be wife. She proves to be a great dance partner as they tango with the banditos of Columbia. They slowly pick apart the offending thugs as they come to harass the village and then it really heats up when Chago, the leader of the bunch, starts making threats.

Gohan and his girl stay put while enlisting to young teenagers that are anxious to rid the village of these monsters. His friend Nikko comes through better than planned. Instead of just sending some artillery, he decides to come fight along Gohan and his small group. He is also going to enlist the help of another mercenary named Mercy. Once they show up, Gohan feels his team is complete for battle. Spiritually, they are ready as well. Brother Ivan felt God nudge him to Columbia to be a spiritual guide for Gohan.

Just as they get all of the plans together, God brings yet another twist to their lives. Two of America’s top guns in the intelligence field have been keeping tabs on Gohan’s location, as well as that of Nikko and Mercy, and decide to see what they are up to. With a little encouragement they agree to help Gohan and the tiny army out. Now the odds are about right. Nine plus God on the side of good. About fifty or so on the side of evil. Evil has no chance!

Just like any other top secret operation, Gohan and his group strategically dismember the opponent and squash the threat. Just like any other top secret mission, there are casualties. Svet, Gohan’s new bride, catches a bullet in the wrong place and the world of Gohan’s romance turns again.

What will he do next? Where will he go? Who will he love? Until next time it’s a mystery, but one thing is for sure. He will follow God, and he will bring his friends to Jesus!
