This book presents information on such lofty
ideas of what heaven will be like, the Garden of Eden, and the Waiting
place of Heaven (yet the Bible tells us that Jesus told the thief on the
next cross, that they would be in paradise today.)
Jesus didn’t mention a three-day waiting
period for orientation. (31) Nor did He say that some believers
will not be in paradise but must live on the edges of Paradise. There are
further limitations as to where the saved and unsaved do not go,
as Dr. Lee has compartmentalized heaven. (34-35) Citing the garden of
Eden as being in heaven, the waiting room of heaven, upper graves, and
outer edges of paradise.
Other topics covered are:
-
The seven year Wedding Banquet
-
Secrets of Heaven hidden since the Creation
-
How will we live in Heaven?
-
The first, second, and third kingdoms of
Heaven
-
New Jerusalem
Dr Lee also shamelessly promotes other books
he has written, which is really not necessary in this venue. There is a
listing of his other works at the back of this book, which should
suffice.
Although this book may have been written with
the purest of purposes, to bring more sheep into the fold, there is some
difficulty in reading this stilted and halting narrative. Furthermore,
some broad areas have no biblical backing and therefore are merely
conjecture. Arguably, the author claims that some of these revelations
came to him from God, which is not being contested here, it’s that there
are limitations that are implied in Holy Scriptures. (That God has
already told us what He wants us to know in the Bible.)
This book is a little too free with the
concept of Heaven and the life hereafter.
The primary concern being baby Christians
(new believers) may interpret this book as Gospel, which it most
certainly is not.
