Hi to everyone from hurricane-devastated Florida. I recently got my power restored from hurrican Frances and am preparing to lose it again to Hurricane Ivan. As you all know, this is the FOURTH punch from hurricanes that Florida has received this summer. This is a record amount of hurricanes that have hit Florida in the same summer. I have a very important prayer request that I need everyone around the country...even the world, to pray about. Please pray that Ivan the Terrible, classifed as a category 4 right now, does not hit Florida. Florida has taken enough beatings this summer and we are not being given the opportunity to pick up the pieces even from Charley! There is a possibility that Ivan could drift back into the Gulf and not hit Florida but I'm asking for prayers that this happens. Nobody needs to get hit by this hurricane, but especially not Florida. Many people are homeless right now and my family is working so hard to get our home back to the way it was, only to possibliy lose it in a matter of a few days. Heavenly Father, please protect our Floridians from further devastation from hurricanes or any other natural disaster this summer. Please give us the courage and the strength to get through another week of hardship and and give us the patience to help our short-temperedness so life can resume back to normalcy.
