Littleton, Colorado – July 3,
2006 – Caleb Project (Littleton, Colorado), a
ministry who creates life-changing materials, programs, and curricula for
individuals and churches that build mission vision and enable involvement
in God’s kingdom work, has joined forces with ACMC (Advancing Churches in
Missions Commitment
-
Fort Wayne, Indiana) a ministry that builds and equips church communities
with a passion for outreach through conferences, consultation, and
resources. The Board of Directors of the
emerging organization consists of all the present board members of each
organization, and both CEOs will remain with the new organization along
with all senior staff members.
This merger took full effect on July 1, 2006.
Regarding this merger,
Dr. Greg Fritz, President of Caleb Project and CEO of the new organization
says, “As a new organization, our prayer is that we will exponentially
increase the number of effective churches, nationally and internationally,
who are strategically engaged in their God-given roles to complete the
Great Commission.
“God is not simply
combining our best individual skills,” Fritz continues. “Together, he’s
making something new, fresh, and even more relevant. Together, he will
accomplish more than what either organization could have envisioned.”
Brent Eimer, President
of ACMC and the new organization, concurs. “This our most exciting time in
ministry. For more than 31 years, God has allowed us to serve literally
thousands of churches, moving tens of thousands forward as it relates to
the Great Commission. These are times of incredible opportunity!”
Steve Hoke, an ACMC
board member commented:
“ACMC and Caleb Project
have been leading-edge organizations committed to serving the Church for
kingdom purposes and global missions for more than 25 years. Their merger
promises to catalyze countless thousands more churches into kingdom
ministry in the decade ahead. I am not just hoping for a big splash; I am
praying for a mega-explosion of God-sized proportion that propels the
American Church in its God-given responsibility in world evangelization in
this generation. May this merger serve the agenda for which we all are
praying – ‘may your kingdom come ...!’”
Fritz concludes, “Our
organization’s commitment to the ultimate goal of seeing the gospel message
cover the earth remains firm and has been ignited with an even deeper
passion. Over the coming months, we will continue to inform our donors and
the Christian community about the direction God is leading.”
About Caleb Project and ACMC:
For more than two
decades, Caleb Project has been mobilizing Christians to complete
the Great Commission of Christ. In the spirit of Caleb of the Old
Testament, Caleb Project seeks to call God’s people to move forward in
faith to fulfill Christ’s commission to make disciples of all peoples and
specifically, the least-evangelized people groups of the world. Caleb
Project develops media-rich resources, seminars, and hands-on international
training experiences to equip the body of Christ for strategic ministry to
unreached peoples. For more information, visit

ACMC
(Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment) serves as a missions catalyst
for thousands of churches across North America and the world. Beginning in
1974 as an association of churches concerned about the declining interest
in missions, ACMC has since developed into a champion for the local
church’s role in missions. Today,
ACMC continues to network, challenge, and equip the Church
to take its rightful place in missions; teaching local churches how to
strategically mobilize their spiritual, human, and material resources
toward fulfillment of the Great Commission. For more information, visit
